L.E. mobile

The future is electric - the future is now!

L-EV 1101 designed and developed by streubelL.E. mobile develops and sells electric vehicles. We currently focus on conversions of donor vehicles and use state-of-the-art available components. The conversion based on the Audi A2 platform has already been completed successfully.

If you are interested in a car, which:

  • drives silently and without emissions (0 g CO2/100km),
  • gives you an entirely new driving fun,
  • is low on operating costs and taxes,
  • solves all your every day commuting needs within a range
    Front eAudi A2of 100 - 200 km and
  • additionally has all the state of the art comfort and safety features

, we should get in touch.

Other platforms are also attractive for conversion. We offer support if you plan to convert your vehicle, even if it is not an Audi A2.

We are convinced that electric vehicles can solve many mobility needs already. Attractive areas of operation are:

  • Boot eAudi A2urban areas
  • mobility needs of local services
  • fleet usage
  • islands and other regions with geographic range limit

All components are available. Most of individual mobility takes place within a range of less than 100 km. Therefore, the range problem is already solved. However, infrastructure and market offerings for seldom long distance drives need development. Without the burden of old business models independent manufacturers will manage the breakthrough of the electric vehicle.

Power steering active again ... (05.06.2009 | 22:12 Uhr)

With a trick, the power steering was re-activated. A real plus in comfort, unfortunately with an increase in energy consumption. The Fahrvergnuegen costs more than 2 kWh/100 km extra. This is an item for the open issue list, it must be reduced!

Does the car meet the target criteria? (29.04.2009 | 22:05 Uhr)

Does the car meet the target criteria? The first long distance drive (60 km) shall prove whether the target criteria of max speed (120 km/h) and energy consumption (< 17 kWh/100 km) can be achieved.
Not knowing how long the car will run I went on a commute drive. The power consumption was logged by a small laptop and the course data recorded by GPS.
See for yourself: The car can run well above 120 km/h and a rough estimate for the energy consumption from the grid is 14 kWh/100 km. Next time I go on the Autobahn ...

First official testdrive! (21.04.2009 | 19:23 Uhr)

First official testdrive! The converted Audi A2 drives silently and smoothly out of the garage und starts its first testdrives!

The car has completed the first two project phases. First, it was professionally demounted, we call it the "Diet Phase". Already a lightweight with 920 kg the car lost additional 210 kg. In the second "Phoenix Phase", the car has been equipped with all necessary components for an electric car.

In the days to come all features and electrical controllers will be fine tuned to make sure the target criteria with the planned Li-Ion battery will be achieved. However, with the in place lead acid battery we already expect acceptable driving features and range.
